Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many of us simply don't have time in our busy lifestyles for anything spiritual. We don't set aside 'me' times. Often we skip reading 'Inspirational' stuff because we rationalize that we have more important things to do. I was one of those people. This was one of those things. Too busy to read any self-help or inspirational stuff, let alone 'Law of Attraction' books. I thought I was above that. I didn't need self-help. At least, not until Miracles started to happen. When things seem to be as bad as they can be, if we look within, we all can discover 'The Power'. Each one of us has it. It exists within us all. It's love. And when we become aware and conscious, we can feel the energy. We can use this energy to guide us through our life. To find happiness and peace. The Power doesn't exist outside. It lives within our hearts. Understand the Universal Laws and use them to design the life of your dreams. Set yourself up to receive everything you always wanted in life. Once you begin to see the light, you'll never go back to darkness. Surround yourself with positive people. And remember, you 'get what you give'. And always, yes always, EXPECT Miracles!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a collection of the miracles, parables and commandments of Jesus, presented by way of comparative study of the four gospels. Jesus is presented here as a human being, homeless and itinerant, who became son of God through renunciation, meditation which led to self-realization. He through the miracles, taught us to restrain from self-glorification, the root cause of sin, but give glory to God for all your achievements because it is not your body, but the spirit of God in you that enables you to do miracles or the works of God. Through the Parables he taught us to what is the kingdom of God and how to seek it. The Commandments, conveyed to us through the Sermon on the Mount teach us how to purify our hearts, lead a righteous life and become perfect or sons of God, who is perfect. One who realize the truth of the Sermon and live accordingly would become God on earth. It is the sum total of all ancient great religions in the world. This book is divided into three parts: the first part dealing with miracles performed by Jesus; the second with parables told by Jesus in the course of his public ministry that form part of his teachings; and the third, commandments, as contained in the Sermon on the Mount.

Born with odd facial features and a club foot, she would later be stricken with poliomyelitis, resulting in further disability. Unsuccessful attempts to correct her severe spinal curvature defect resulted in even more damage to her face. A lonely and despondent teenager who had to endure the bullying of children and cruel stares of the adults in her community, Bella Rose prayed for a miracle. She would have been happy to walk normally. To be rid of her "hunchback" would have been a bonus. To wish for even a common face that didn't draw stares from strangers would have been asking too much. With no prospects for any semblance of a normal life and condemned to a life of poverty in Homewood, Bella found her miracle. Heeding "a still, small, voice," Travis Hartley, a local hometown hero, befriended Bella and showed her a simple kind of love that she had never known. His singular act of kindness started her on an amazing journey from hopelessness and despair to a life of happiness and accomplishment.

This book was released on 2023-05-11 with total page 27 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To fully benefit from new agricultural technologies like improved seed varieties, significant investment in complementary inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides, and practices such as systematic planting, irrigation, and weeding are also required. Farmers may fail to recognize the importance of these complements, leading to unsatisfactory crop yields and outputs and, eventually, dis-adoption of the variety. We provide a simple model of biased expectations, complementary input use and technology adoption and test its predictions using a field experiment among smallholder maize farmers in eastern Uganda. We find that pointing out the importance of complementary investments using a short, engaging video effectively deters some farmers from using commercial improved varieties. Consistent with the theoretical model, we find some evidence that this behavior change emanates from increased knowledge and expectations that are more in line with realized outcomes.

Book excerpt: The Bible is filled with miracles... but what is God trying to show us? A miracle is an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs. In other words, God shows up in the lives of real people. He meets us in our moment of need. He comes close. Most of us have wrestled with these questions: Is God close to me? Does He see what I'm going through? Will He show up with His miracle power when I need Him most? No one performed miracles like Jesus. He restored sight to the blind, helped the lame walk, calmed the seas, and multiplied one boy's lunch to feed thousands. And every time He performed one of these miracles, He didn't just meet the person's needs, He helped them get closer to God. I spent a couple weeks visiting the places where many of these things happened to get a better understanding of how these miracles help us clearly see the nature and character of God. I want to invite you to go on a journey with Jesus-from His life to yours. I believe the Bible will come alive to you like never before and you will truly be closer to Jesus. And the closer we get, the more we realize He is better than we imagined.
