Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has been written with regard to my journey to the Holy Land in 2017 for performing Hajj. It was a unique journey demonstrating the graciousness of Allah. A trip that was initially canceled but then opened by Allah. We shared the story of our trip with close friends when they came to visit us after we performed the Hajj. They suggested we write a book about it. At the time I was not ready to do so. Last year, our children brought up the topic of our Hajj journey. Upon hearing the story of our journey, they persuaded me to start writing. Praise be to Allah, I started writing on the 1st of Ramadan 1442 Hijri (13th April 2021). My intention in writing this book is to, hopefully, inspire and encourage the reader to put their full trust in Allah, especially during the challenging and difficult times that they might face. God willing, this book will prove, through my own experiences, how Allah is unquestionably the Most Gracious, the All-knowing, and the Best of Planners. Be undoubtful of the words of God in the Holy Qur'an, "Whosoever has taqwa, Allah will give him a way for him to get out (from every difficulty)" (Surah Al-Talaq verse 2). I, therefore, remind myself and everyone to continue to increase their taqwa towards Allah. If God wills, the resolution to any and all problems will be shown by Him. A truly blessed once-in-a-lifetime experience. A unique journey. Will it happen again? Read the book to find out the full story. .

Book excerpt: #1 New York Times Bestseller “Significant...The book is both instructive and surprisingly moving.” —The New York Times Ray Dalio, one of the world’s most successful investors and entrepreneurs, shares the unconventional principles that he’s developed, refined, and used over the past forty years to create unique results in both life and business—and which any person or organization can adopt to help achieve their goals. In 1975, Ray Dalio founded an investment firm, Bridgewater Associates, out of his two-bedroom apartment in New York City. Forty years later, Bridgewater has made more money for its clients than any other hedge fund in history and grown into the fifth most important private company in the United States, according to Fortune magazine. Dalio himself has been named to Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Along the way, Dalio discovered a set of unique principles that have led to Bridgewater’s exceptionally effective culture, which he describes as “an idea meritocracy that strives to achieve meaningful work and meaningful relationships through radical transparency.” It is these principles, and not anything special about Dalio—who grew up an ordinary kid in a middle-class Long Island neighborhood—that he believes are the reason behind his success. In Principles, Dalio shares what he’s learned over the course of his remarkable career. He argues that life, management, economics, and investing can all be systemized into rules and understood like machines. The book’s hundreds of practical lessons, which are built around his cornerstones of “radical truth” and “radical transparency,” include Dalio laying out the most effective ways for individuals and organizations to make decisions, approach challenges, and build strong teams. He also describes the innovative tools the firm uses to bring an idea meritocracy to life, such as creating “baseball cards” for all employees that distill their strengths and weaknesses, and employing computerized decision-making systems to make believability-weighted decisions. While the book brims with novel ideas for organizations and institutions, Principles also offers a clear, straightforward approach to decision-making that Dalio believes anyone can apply, no matter what they’re seeking to achieve. Here, from a man who has been called both “the Steve Jobs of investing” and “the philosopher king of the financial universe” (CIO magazine), is a rare opportunity to gain proven advice unlike anything you’ll find in the conventional business press.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1105, six years after the first crusaders from Europe conquered Jerusalem, a Damascene Muslim jurisprudent named ’Ali ibn Tahir al-Sulami (d. 1106) publicly dictated an extended call to the military jihad (holy war) against the European invaders. Entitled Kitab al-Jihad (The Book of the Jihad), al-Sulami’s work both summoned his Muslim brethren to the jihad and instructed them in the manner in which it ought to be conducted, covering topics as diverse as who should fight and be fought, treatment of prisoners and plunder, and the need for participants to fight their own inner sinfulness before turning their efforts against the enemy. Al-Sulami’s text is vital for a complete understanding of the Muslim reaction to the crusades, providing the reader with the first contemporary record of Muslim preaching against the crusaders. However, until recently only a small part of the text has been studied by modern scholars, as it has remained for the most part an unedited manuscript. In this book Niall Christie provides a complete edition and the first full English translation of the extant sections (parts 2, 8, 9 and 12) of the manuscript of al-Sulami’s work, making it fully available to modern readers for the first time. These are accompanied by an introductory study exploring the techniques that the author uses to motivate his audience, the precedents that influenced his work, and possible directions for future study of the text. In addition, an appendix provides translations of jihad sermons by Ibn Nubata al-Fariqi (d. 985), a preacher from Asia Minor whose rhetorical style was highly influential in the development of al-Sulami’s work.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide readers through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God. They move into an examination of the source of morality and the reliability of the New Testament accounts concerning Jesus. The final section of the book deals with a detailed investigation of the claims of Christ. This volume will be an interesting read for those skeptical about Christianity, as well as a helpful resource for Christians seeking to articulate a more sophisticated defense of their faith.

This book was released on 2017-08-03 with total page 92 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The mind of the person is like a clear page and whatever is written on it and will remain impressed there. When a baby is born then he does not know anything. But gradually when he grows up and whatever he will see in the surrounding and whatever he learn from his parents about it, then he will act upon as per such direction and he will spend his life accordingly. "Who (Allah) have given you birth and among them there are some infidel and some are Momin (Muslim) (1-64.)" And it is a reality that every child born is a Muslim by nature, that is, upon Islam, but afterward as per his training he will spend his life accordingly. The question is how one person should know that the training which he is getting is in reality beneficial for him or that the religion which he is following is right, and whether he can spend a successful life in this world or not? Because in the world, there are followers of every religion and every faith claims that they are on the right path and others faiths are leading towards misguidance. But how a person will ascertain that the religion he is following is correct or not? Allah created man and he hasn't created man indifferently and left him, so that he can spend his life as per his wish, but he was sent down some people in every nation and in all time for the guidance of mankind, and who showed the mankind the path of truth and successful way of life and also showed them that they have not born for no reason but there is one who created them. There is one Lord and on His commands they should follow and after spending their life in the world, they have to go back to Him "And the things which are there on earth and skies belong to Him. Everyone is under His command. He is who that has created the creatures for the first time and again He will re-birth them and it is easy for Him. His attributes are best and highest. In the skies and in the earth, He is overwhelming and having wisdom. (30-26-27)." "Allah has grand dignity and in his possession are all kingdoms and he is empowered on all of them. He who created life and death for your trail so that to know the good deeds among you and he is a great forgiver. (67-1-2)." These persons in every country were called by different names. In India they were called Sandestha and in Europe as a prophet and in Arabia they were called as messengers (Rasool) and all of them had higher status of character and holding respectable position. They gave advice to the mankind to follow humanity and showed them the way and they themselves walked on that path and those who has followed on their way were given good news in the world. And advised them that the life in this world is not the last life, but there is another life hereafter and the success of that life depends on the life of this world. If one who spend the life in this world, according to the commandments of Allah, then there will be success in hereafter. And if the commandments of Allah, are not followed in this world, there will be no success in the other world. "The reality is that one who will come before their Lord as criminal after death, then there is hell fire for them, in which he will neither die nor live, but he will remain there in perpetual torment. One who will come before Him as Momin (faithful and follower of the commandments of Allah) and who did good deeds so for these people

Book excerpt: I have written many books and articles on various topics but since 2013, I have devoted myself fully in writing the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English and with the grace of Allah, I have completed the whole Quran on 29th October 2020 with 84 books. I believe there is a great need in the whole world for the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran to be written in English. Currently, there is a great misunderstanding about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims globally. The misunderstanding of the meaning of the Holy Quran among Muslims will lead to the wrong practice of Islam which leads to the wrong actions of Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims will lead to misunderstandings about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims. The wrong actions of the Muslims have led to many miseries and wars among Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims have also led to many wars and clashes between Muslims and non-Muslims. In order to avoid miseries, wars and clashes from taking place between the whole mankind in the whole world, the whole mankind in the whole world need to understand the true teaching of Islam. There is no other way for the whole mankind to understand the true teaching of Islam unless the whole mankind is able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran. The whole mankind is only able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran when it is written in the universal language of the world (English). For this very reason I have written the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English. Prof. Nasoha Bin Saabin

Book excerpt: New York Times bestselling books have taken the view that the oldest New Testament documents paint a very different picture to later copies. Others are of the opinion that the original gospel accounts were never intended to be historically accurate. Many people assume that the bias of the original New Testament authors distorted their recollections of Jesus, and Jesus' words were not put into written form for several decades, allowing distortion to occur. What would you say? What do you believe and why? Were Jesus' words recorded accurately by the gospel writers during Jesus' life & the making & copying of the New Testament? This highly readable journey of discovery considers gospel textual criticism, Christian historiography, archaeology, literacy & more. See evidence for the reliability of the recounting of Jesus as found in the Bible. This Christian apologetic book provides evidence in an engaging manner, following along a logical journey of discovery. When you've purchased and read this book you will: - understand how literate and historically aware the ancient civilisations were - appreciate how it was possible for the first disciples to accurately record Jesus' life and teachings - have a highly readable explanation of early Greek New Testament documents and know what they have to say about accuracy in copying - know the content and credibility of non-Christian ancient literature that comment on Jesus and the first Christians.
