Cissy Salter is more than ready to shed Earth's repression when she moves to the planet Kalquor. She leaps headlong into drinking, partying and liaisons with young alien men. She would be having the time of her life if not for the disapproval of a certain rich, gorgeous Dramok she can't avoid. She'd love to despise him, but her heart has other ideas. Dramok Diltan sees the bawdy, unrefined Cissy as a thorn in his side. The last thing he needs is a woman who drives him crazy every time they meet. Yet the spark in her eyes kindles a fire he can't ignore. His enthralled clanmates Wal and Rolat are determined to get the two to stop fighting, at least long enough to explore the possibility of making Cissy part of their clan. When they discover Diltan's past misdeeds, Wal and Rolat issue an ultimatum—help them seduce the Earth-woman or face punishment. As Cissy and Clan Diltan discover each other's true natures and love blooms, the long-hidden secrets of Kalquor's leadership are revealed. An old conspiracy brought to light shatters Kalquor's peace, driving the Empire apart...and tearing Cissy from the arms of the three men she can no longer live without.

Believing Earthlings had killed his fellow warriors, Jape Bolep is determined to destroy Earth’s access to Risnar once and for all. Grabbing a curvy handful of a human wasn’t part of the plan, but he has no intention of letting her distract him from his need for vengeance—no matter how much he aches to make her his. Both are ready to do battle over right and wrong and good and evil, and their combustible relationship burns hotter than the sun’s surface. But distrust and treachery from all sides leave Velia and Jape in a fight against their own people to keep each other alive—and to ultimately save both Earth and Risnar from total destruction. Book excerpt: Rath Scampion, outer rim scout, explores the barren landscapes of Fenrir just before a Regency Scientific Council plants the seed of a genetically created "alien." Captured trying to steal precious gems from the planet, Rath finds himself entangled in a massive deception. Geneticists create the Fenrites in cloning labs, infusing knowledge of basic agriculture through brain wave technology. As the alien colony takes hold on the once barren planet, researchers discover the Fenrites advancing at an alarming pace, passing quickly through complex stages of industrial and technological growth. The experiment spirals out of control and Rath must flee Regency controlled space, ending up in the midst of marauders and outcasts. He is caught with no safe haven as the Fenrite disaster spurs on political and military chaos throughout the Regency colonized worlds. From the Author: Alien Cradle is one of my first novels. It is more plot focused than character driven, so it is very different from my other works, such as the Delver Magic series. I am including it for the sake of completeness. I wanted to make all of my work available for anyone interested in my earliest books. If you decide to give Alien Cradle a try, I hope you will also consider some of my other novels. Thank you, Jeff Inlo

Book excerpt: Do you think UFOs and ETs only make their presence known to that class of beer swilling, pick-up truck driving people of questionable intelligence and veracity that mainly reside below the Mason-Dixon Line? A highly educated engineer, who believed only in what he could hold, measure and quantify, thought just that until one fateful morning when he decided to aide a few strangers who came knocking at his door. If you’ve been searching for a truly engaging science fiction story written for non-nerds, that foregoes the weird religions, strange, unpronounceable languages and endless lines of meaningless techno-babble, then hop aboard for a down to earth, but highly exciting, exceptionally humorous and fast moving adventure with The Aliens Reward. This is one story where the visitors from space are just as crazy as any humans, and aren’t portrayed as invincible, all-knowing demi-gods, grotesque monsters or beings with supernatural powers. And, you’ll discover that they don’t have all the answers, although they do have plenty of questions, and present some unique problems, along with incredible acts of heroism, loyalty and courage. Discover how one non-believing man’s decision changes not only his world, but the fate of our entire planet, forever…

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ‘An endlessly fascinating journey through the extraordinary laws that have shaped every aspect of British society from Anglo-Saxon times to the present day. Impeccably researched and engagingly, often humorously written, it delivers so many jaw-dropping moments that I found it impossible to put down. A truly remarkable book.’ - Tracy Borman - Chief Curator for HM Historic Royal Palaces, Author, historian & broadcaster In the UK, we have some bizarre laws that have littered the statute books of our sceptred isle throughout history. Not all of them have been repealed over the centuries. Some of them made perfect sense at the time they were introduced but seen through modern eyes, now appear archaic and draconian. Despite the great efforts of the Law Commission in England and Wales to review and recommend reforms for many of these outdated laws, there are centuries of law that must be painstakingly gone through. As well as some bizarre laws, the UK also has its fair share of curious customs and time-honoured traditions that have been observed for centuries. On the surface, many appear to be nothing more than theatrical pomp and pageantry. However, they are all born from strong rationale. The UK parliament seems to have had a particular penchant for passing laws related to fish and animals, indecency and passing sentences with some humiliating public punishments. This book is a highly entertaining read for anyone who enjoys learning about the more bizarre applications of UK law throughout the centuries, along with some rather macabre consequences along the way. Have you ever heard a bizarre law and thought, that can’t possibly be true? Is it genuine? Was it ever in existence or just an urban myth that became so embellished over time? There are surprisingly, a great many laws still in existence on the statute books today, that would make your jaw drop. Whilst bizarre as these laws may now seem to us, it begs the question, are we in fact, unknowingly breaking these laws on a regular basis? For example… It is illegal to cause a nuclear explosion? Are you required to talk to the police? Is Knock and Run illegal? Was it illegal to grow a beard? Do all swans belong to The King? …all these questions and more will be answered in this Volume 1 of a 3 volume series by Monty Lord. Reading this book, you may be inclined to laugh heartily, let out a sorrowful cry or recoil in abject horror at some of the more gruesome sentences passed for breaking these weird laws. With over 300 bizarre but nevertheless true, laws and customs, you can use this book to satisfy your curiosity about what our ancestors had to contend with over the years, or perhaps as a reference guide for trivia quizzes.
