Download or read book Exploring the Extension of Natural Operations on Intervals, Matrices and Complex Numbers written by W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy, Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2012 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book we explore the possibility of extending the natural operations on reals to intervals and matrices. The extension to intervals makes us define a natural class of intervals in which we accept [a, b], a greater than b. Further, we introduce a complex modulo integer in Z_n (n, a positive integer) and denote it by iF with iF^2 = n-1.

Book Synopsis Smarandache Special Elements in Multiset Semigroups by : W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy
Download or read book Smarandache Special Elements in Multiset Semigroups written by W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Authors in this book study the notion of Smarandache element in multiset semigroups. It is important to keep on record that we define four operations on multisets viz. +, X, union and intersection in a free way. Thus all sets finite or infinite order contribute to infinite order multisets and the semigroup under any of these operations is of infinite order.
Book Synopsis Non-Associative Algebraic Structures on MOD Planes by : W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy
Download or read book Non-Associative Algebraic Structures on MOD Planes written by W. B. Vasantha Kandasamy and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2015 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book authors for the first time construct non-associative algebraic structures on the MOD planes. Using MOD planes we can construct infinite number of groupoids for a fixed m and all these MOD groupoids are of infinite cardinality. Special identities satisfied by these MOD groupoids build using the six types of MOD planes are studied. Further, the new concept of special pseudo zero of these groupoids are defined, described and developed. Also conditions for these MOD groupoids to have special elements like idempotent, special pseudo zero divisors and special pseudo nilpotent are obtained. Further non-associative MOD rings are constructed using MOD groupoids and commutative rings with unit. That is the MOD groupoid rings gives infinitely many non-associative ring. These rings are analysed for substructures and special elements. This study is new and innovative and several open problems are suggested.

Download or read book Modern Cryptography written by Wenbo Mao and published by Prentice Hall. This book was released on 2003-07-25 with total page 842 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Leading HP security expert Wenbo Mao explains why "textbook" crypto schemes, protocols, and systems are profoundly vulnerable by revealing real-world-scenario attacks. Next, he shows how to realize cryptographic systems and protocols that are truly "fit for application"--and formally demonstrates their fitness. Mao presents practical examples throughout and provides all the mathematical background you'll need. Coverage includes: Crypto foundations: probability, information theory, computational complexity, number theory, algebraic techniques, and more Authentication: basic techniques and principles vs. misconceptions and consequential attacks Evaluating real-world protocol standards including IPSec, IKE, SSH, TLS (SSL), and Kerberos Designing stronger counterparts to vulnerable "textbook" crypto schemes Mao introduces formal and reductionist methodologies to prove the "fit-for-application" security of practical encryption, signature, signcryption, and authentication schemes. He gives detailed explanations for zero-knowledge protocols: definition, zero-knowledge properties, equatability vs. simulatability, argument vs. proof, round-efficiency, and non-interactive versions.
Book Synopsis Computational Noncommutative Algebra and Applications by : Jim Byrnes
Download or read book Computational Noncommutative Algebra and Applications written by Jim Byrnes and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2006-01-28 with total page 435 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The fusion of algebra, analysis and geometry, and their application to real world problems, have been dominant themes underlying mathematics for over a century. Geometric algebras, introduced and classified by Clifford in the late 19th century, have played a prominent role in this effort, as seen in the mathematical work of Cartan, Brauer, Weyl, Chevelley, Atiyah, and Bott, and in applications to physics in the work of Pauli, Dirac and others. One of the most important applications of geometric algebras to geometry is to the representation of groups of Euclidean and Minkowski rotations. This aspect and its direct relation to robotics and vision will be discussed in several chapters of this multi-authored textbook, which resulted from the ASI meeting. Moreover, group theory, beginning with the work of Burnside, Frobenius and Schur, has been influenced by even more general problems. As a result, general group actions have provided the setting for powerful methods within group theory and for the use of groups in applications to physics, chemistry, molecular biology, and signal processing. These aspects, too, will be covered in detail. With the rapidly growing importance of, and ever expanding conceptual and computational demands on signal and image processing in remote sensing, computer vision, medical image processing, and biological signal processing, and on neural and quantum computing, geometric algebras, and computational group harmonic analysis, the topics of the book have emerged as key tools. The list of authors includes many of the world's leading experts in the development of new algebraic modeling and signal representation methodologies, novel Fourier-based and geometrictransforms, and computational algorithms required for realizing the potential of these new application fields. The intention of this textbook is share their profound wisdom with the many future stars of pure and computational noncommutative algebra. A key feature of both the meeting and the book will be their presentation of problems and applications that will shape the twenty-first century computational technology base.

This book was released on 2005-08-08 with total page 230 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discover applications of Fourier analysis on finite non-Abeliangroups The majority of publications in spectral techniques considerFourier transform on Abelian groups. However, non-Abelian groupsprovide notable advantages in efficient implementations of spectralmethods. Fourier Analysis on Finite Groups with Applications in SignalProcessing and System Design examines aspects of Fourieranalysis on finite non-Abelian groups and discusses differentmethods used to determine compact representations for discretefunctions providing for their efficient realizations and relatedapplications. Switching functions are included as an example ofdiscrete functions in engineering practice. Additionally, consideration is given to the polynomial expressions and decisiondiagrams defined in terms of Fourier transform on finitenon-Abelian groups. A solid foundation of this complex topic is provided bybeginning with a review of signals and their mathematical modelsand Fourier analysis. Next, the book examines recent achievementsand discoveries in: Matrix interpretation of the fast Fourier transform Optimization of decision diagrams Functional expressions on quaternion groups Gibbs derivatives on finite groups Linear systems on finite non-Abelian groups Hilbert transform on finite groups Among the highlights is an in-depth coverage of applications ofabstract harmonic analysis on finite non-Abelian groups in compactrepresentations of discrete functions and related tasks in signalprocessing and system design, including logic design. All chaptersare self-contained, each with a list of references to facilitatethe development of specialized courses or self-study. With nearly 100 illustrative figures and fifty tables, this isan excellent textbook for graduate-level students and researchersin signal processing, logic design, and system theory-as well asthe more general topics of computer science and appliedmathematics.
