Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a continuation of the Algebraic Formalization of Smart Systems. Theory and Practice, 2018, and Algebraic Identification of Smart Systems. Theory and Practice, 2021. Algebraic logic refers to the connection between Boolean algebra and classical propositional calculus. This connection was discovered by George Boole and then developed by other mathematicians, such as C. S. Peirce and Ernst Schroeder. This trend culminated in the Lindenbaum-Tarski algebras. Here we try to connect algebraic logic and quasi-fractal technique, based on algebraic formalization of smart systems to get facts about smart systems functioning and connections of their qualitative and quantitative indicators. Basic techniques we used: algebraic quasi-fractal systems, Erdős–Rényi algorithm, a notion of –giant component of an algebraic system, fixed point theorem, purities, i.e., embeddings preserving -property of an algebraic system. The book is aimed for all interested in these issues.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a continuation of our recently published book “Algebraic formalization of smart systems. Theory and practice.” It incorporates a new concept of quasi-fractal algebraic systems, based on A.I. Maltsev’s theory of algebraic systems and the theory of fractals developed by Benoit Mandelbrot, to investigate smart systems in more detail. The main tool used in the book, quasi-fractal algebraic systems, helps us to see smart systems in more detail by adding new factors, which e.g. make it possible to describe the previously indivisible elements of the initial model of factors. The techniques presented include fixed-point theorem, theorems of group theory, theory of Boolean algebras, and Erdös-Renyi algorithms. Given its focus, the book is intended for anyone interested in smart system theory.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fractal analysis has entered a new era. The applications to different areas of knowledge have been surprising. Let us begin with the fractional calculus-fractal geometry relationship, which allows for modeling with extreme precision of phenomena such as diffusion in porous media with fractional partial differential equations in fractal objects. Where the order of the equation is the same as the fractal dimension, this allows us to make calculations with enormous precision in diffusion phenomena-particularly in the oil industry, for new spillage prevention. Main applications to industry, design of fractal antennas to receive all frequencies and that is used in all cell phones, spacecraft, radars, image processing, measure, porosity, turbulence, scattering theory. Benoit Mandelbrot, creator of fractal geometry, would have been surprised by the use of fractal analysis presented in this book: "Part I: Petroleum Industry and Numerical Analysis"; "Part II: Fractal Antennas, Spacecraft, Radars, Image Processing, and Measure"; and "Part III: Scattering Theory, Porosity, and Turbulence." It's impossible to picture today's research without fractal analysis.

Fractal geometry is the mathematics of roughness: how to reduce the outline of a jagged leaf or static in a computer connection to a few simple mathematical properties. With his fractal tools, Mandelbrot has got to the bottom of how financial markets really work. He finds they have a shifting sense of time and wild behaviour that makes them volatile, dangerous - and beautiful. In his models, the complex gyrations of the FTSE 100 and exchange rates can be reduced to straightforward formulae that yield a much more accurate description of the risks involved.

Book excerpt: This book focuses on the use of The Internet of Things (IoT) and big data in business intelligence, data management, Hadoop, machine learning, cloud, smart cities, etc. IoT and big data emerged from the early 2000s data boom, driven forward by many of the early internet and technology companies. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an interconnection of several devices, networks, technologies, and human resources to achieve a common goal. There are a variety of IoT-based applications being used in different sectors and have succeeded in providing huge benefits to the users. The generation of big data by IoT has ruptured the existing data processing capacity of IoT and recommends to adopt the data analytics to strengthen solutions. The success of IoT depends upon the influential association of big data analytics. New technologies like search engines, mobile devices, and industrial machines provided as much data as companies could handle—and the scale continues to grow. In a study conducted by IDC, the market intelligence firm estimated that the global production of data would grow 10x between 2015 and 2020. So, the proposed book covers up all the aspects in the field discuss above.
