Book excerpt: "God has chosen to use people to advance His work by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all the world. The continent of Africa has received the light of the Gospel through many such voices, including my parents, Drs. T.L. and Daisy Osborn. We traveled as a family of four, going from nation to nation, living among the people and working with local pastors to organize and conduct historic Mass Miracle Evangelism crusades. Our first time on the continent was in 1956. Many of the evangelists in Africa that have served through the decades are sons and daughters of my parents'' ministries. As you read this historic record of specific evangelists, you will be introduced to Africa - God''s Generals that have impacted the nations of this great continent. Reading these stories allows the Holy Spirit to kindle a new or renewed passion for the work of evangelism in your heart, among your own people and beyond. If God can use these generals He can use you. The purpose of this book is not to place Gospel messengers on unattainable pedestals; it is to invite you to join this company of faith, obedience and purpose, bringing people to the light and truth of Jesus Christ." Bishop Dr. LaDonna Osborn, (osborn.org) In Africa God''s Generals: The Soul Winners, Eddie Sempala honours by documenting stories of faith of some of the men and women of God who have been involved in mass evangelism in Africa over the years and have won many souls to the Kingdom of Heaven for God''s glory. Benson Idahosa, as a young man heard his pastor preach that all things are possible to those that believe. After service, he moved all over Benin, from house to house asking whether there was a dead person he could pray for to resurrect. The Osborns, known for their open air meetings in Africa. You will realise that many of the outstanding African pastors have their roots in the ministry of the Osborns. When T.L Osborn died, he left his daughter, Dr. LaDonna Osborn in charge. She still does what her parents were doing. More than 150,000 churches have been established through their ministry. Enoch Adeboye, In 1975 he was ordained a pastor and after the death of Pastor Josiah, he started on his duty as the General Overseer to grow the church. It is estimated that the church has over 15 million members in Nigeria and over 28 million members worldwide. Reinhard Bonnke, as teenager, after he accepted Christ, he attended a Sunday service where during their preaching, he sensed God speaking to him that he would one day preach the gospel in Africa. In 1967 he arrived in South Africa with his wife, Anni. He has witnessed over 66 million souls coming to Christ in Africa around the world. Angus Buchan, the farmer evangelist who in the early years of ministry wanted to organise and evangelistic campaign but was turned down by the local pastors whom he first contacted. Teresa Wairimu, the evangelist who longed to be prayed for to receive an impartation from Reinhard Bonnke and followed him upto Norway. She received the impartation later on. She is known for the big crusades in Uhuru Park and also for her gift of prophesy. Rev. Teresa has set a standard that women can also be used greatly by God in mass evangelism. David Oyedepo, before starting the church, he read 39 biographies of outstanding ministries, discovering how great ministries are run, acquiring sound knowledge and thinking for running a great ministry. In 1984, when the membership of his church was still under forty, he inquired of the Lord in a 3-day prayer and fasting "Why is this church not growing?" Robert Kayanja, as a young pastor in a war torn country, God used him to awaken the nation of Uganda to the power of God. It will be unfair to talk about revival in Uganda and you don''t mention his name. He longed to meet with T.L Osborn and miraculously interpreted for him when he came to Uganda.

Book excerpt: South Africa and Zimbabwe are home to the largest cluster of ancient stone ruins found to date on Earth. Adam's Calendar is at the centre of it all - the oldest functioning megalithic Sun Calendar found to date. Since 2007, more than 5 million circular stone structures have been identified by Michael Tellinger and a small group of independent researchers. These structures are not "stand-alone" stone circles - they are all connected to each other by channels of stone, and held in a large mesh of agricultural terraces that cover entire mountains and resembles a never-ending spider's web. The great mystery is that the original stone structures have no doors or entrances - indicating that they were not originally constructed as dwellings for people or animals. Additional research and the discovery of mysterious tools and artefacts, indicate that the builders had an advanced knowledge of Cymatics - study of sound - and knew how to use sound as a tool. Together with many ancient gold mines, all this activity has been dated with various scientific techniques to well over 100,000 years - and provides much support for the presence of the Sumerian Anunnaki on Earth - mining gold in Southern Africa. A place often referred to as the ABZU. Scholars have told us that the first civilization on Earth emerged in a land called Sumer some 6000 years ago. These archaeological findings in southern Africa suggest that the Sumerians inherited much of their knowledge from an earlier civilization that emerged many thousands of years before them in southern Africa, the cradle of humankind.

Book excerpt: Our problem on the African continent at the moment is the following: Western people in general and Christian missionaries in particular, were mostly uncritical about their own (European) culture and over-critical about African culture. In reaction, African Christians in general and theologians in particular are today, on the one hand, very critical about the Western type of Christianity which has been transplanted to the continent, but, on the other hand, not critical enough about their own African culture and traditional religion. Many African theologians, for instance, claim that before the Gospel came to our continent, Africans already correctly worshiped the true God. They say that the Gospel was not the beginning of the true knowledge of God, but merely a continuation or fulfillment of true faith that already existed in the pre-Christian African's heart. Some even go so far as to suggest that the African's method of approaching God is as valid as the way of salvation through the Gospel. Such ideas are emphatically denied in this book. The whole book is more than an attempt to present African indigenous beliefs in a systematic manner, comparing it with Biblical teaching. It is not only against Western secularism, but also strongly opposed to the very strong syncretistic tendency in African church life and in African theology. It convincingly argues that the idea of adaptation should be replaced by the idea of transformation in the light of God's Word. We cannot have a peaceful accommodation but only a powerful confrontation between traditional African religion and real Biblical Christian faith. This clash of irreconcilable spiritual powers becomes clear on every page - a struggle between life and death, a struggle for control of the hearts and minds of the African people. The writer pleads with his fellow African to make a definite choice (either the Gospel or traditional beliefs) and not to opt for a
