Book excerpt: In the picturesque town of Behalpur, nestled amidst the tranquil embrace of the Himalayan foothills, a spirited family was about to embark on a journey that would entwine their love for racing and their deep-rooted bonds of tradition. At the heart of this narrative stood Joginder Singh Ji, the patriarch of the Singh family. His love for speed had been passed down through generations, and the upcoming mountain car race was not only a competition but a testament to the family’s legacy. Alongside them, embracing a journey as thrilling as the mountain race, were two remarkable women – Sarah and Tracy. Strangers to this family, they had crossed continents to become an inseparable part of their lives, uniting them in a tale that transcends borders. However, amidst the roar of engines and the thrill of the race, the story also unfolds a different chapter. It’s a tale of love, unity, and the gentle reminder that in the pursuit of our passions, we must never forget the invaluable bonds that connect us to our roots. A grand wedding and a thrilling race were on the horizon, and the Singh family was poised at the crossroads of tradition and ambition. This is a story of family, racing, and the seamless blend of two worlds, where love knows no boundaries and where, as the engines of life revved on, the heart remained firmly in the driver’s seat.

Book Synopsis Love Must Confront by : Bishop D. A. Davis
Download or read book Love Must Confront written by Bishop D. A. Davis and published by Outskirts Press. This book was released on 2023-05-19 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does it seem easier to have a negative influence than a positive one? To positively influence anyone, especially your spouse or significant other, you must be sensitive to their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Therefore, when couples disagree, one, if not both, desires to be bigger than the other, emphasizing their will. They remain factually correct, believing their viewpoint is the correct one. However, two rights never make a marriage or relationship work; one must mature and apologize. This book is about the difficulties facing relationships and marriages, but on a more profound level; it is about male or female leadership. Every leader establishes a rhythm and cadence which forces them to advance the relationship or marriage. Summarily, are you the leader within your relationship or union who makes excellent decisions but lacks the influence necessary to inspire change? Or are you the leader who makes poor decisions, but your leverage (Influence) creates opportunities for hidden areas of your relationship or marriage to flourish? Bishop D. A. Davis graduated from Alabama A & M University with an Undergraduate degree and the Criswell College with a Master of Divinity degree. He serves as senior pastor of Spirit Fellowship Church in Desoto, TX. He and Lorita host a national prayer line; conduct marital and relational seminars while coaching couples on how to build stronger relationships and marriages. They are known as ‘relationship strategists’ due to the revelation insight, spiritual wisdom, and favor that God has placed upon their lives. They have been married for thirty-seven years and have three children and six grandchildren. When they are not ministering, D. A. and Lorita enjoy spending time with their family and loved ones while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.

Download or read book Cars We Love written by Brian Earnest and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2011-06-23 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the foreword: ". . . these cars aren't rare or unique, but they have other things going for them. Sometimes they were the subject of amazing restorations or rescue efforts. Sometimes, against all odds, they remained in one family for generations, or were babied to extremes and today have ridiculously low totals on their odometers. These are the cars that have stories. They might not have been amazing when they were new, but they are unique now because of the lives they've lived and the owners who have sat in their driver's seats. They've got history, and if they could talk, what amazing tales they could tell us!"

Book Synopsis The Seasons of My Life by : John Lentz
Download or read book The Seasons of My Life written by John Lentz and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2022-09-06 with total page 418 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Seasons of My Life is a book that I wish my mother had written. Growing up, I was never very interested in hearing her tell stories of her life. I was always more interested in going out to play. As I got older and had my own family, I was always too busy with my life to sit and listen to her experiences. How sorry I am now that I never really knew my own mother. This is also a book that I hope my kids and grandkids will someday write. I hope it will also be inspirational to many others to start their own family tradition. How great would it be to pick up a book and read about your parents, grandparents, or even great-grandparents; to know what their life was really like way back when; to know of the struggles they faced, their likes and dislikes, successes and failures, their loves and their regrets, and what made them the way they were. I also believe this would be a wonderful book for book club members to read. It will get the thoughts and memories flowing back about their own life experiences. I wrote this book so that my kids and grandkids and also the rest of my family and friends will know who I am and why I do the things I do. For others who read it, this book is not for you to know who I was but to get you to think about who you are. This is the second book I have written. My first book titled Our Journey is still available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It covers a ten-year period in my life from the time my wife was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's until she took her last breath while in my arms.
