As parents, we can't always be around, at that point. This book can. Author's Note: I asked three or four people, parents all, to look at various portions of this book, before it was published, and to give me their opinions of it. They all thought that the advice in it was good. One test reader gave me her opinion about marriage, and I included it in that section. Given that she has been married to the same man for 55 years; I thought that what she said was worth including. I stated, in the book, next to that advice, that it was her advice, but I felt that it was well worth listening to. As of 24 August 2019, I have sold twelve author's copies to various people. I have talked to most of them, after they have read the book, and they thought that this was a good book, with good advice in it. As an author, I want this book to do well. This is my first book. As a parent, if I had gotten general feedback that the advice in this book was garbage, I absolutely WOULD withdraw this book from publication. I refuse to deliberately give young adults bad advice. They get more than enough of that, already.
