Book Synopsis A Topological Technique for Analysis of Active Networks by : John T. Barrows
Download or read book A Topological Technique for Analysis of Active Networks written by John T. Barrows and published by . This book was released on 1965 with total page 38 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This paper presents a generalization of Fuessner's method for the analysis of active networks. This method makes it possible to determine system functions of any network in a simple and straightforward manner. In the usual topological analysis of networks it is necessary to list all possible trees or co-trees and the signs of their tree admittance products as well as determining the set of 2-tree products and their signs for the network function in question. Usually two graphs, a current and a voltage graph, are used to implement this process when dependent sources are present in the network. The method presented here utilizes solely the original topology and the assigned branch current directions to determine these terms and their sign. Justification of the technique is given for the cases of one and two dependent sources present in a network with the summary of the method for each case. The analysis of a network with an arbitrary number of dependent sources is seen to follow directly. Finally an example of a network with two dependent sources is given which illustrates the method. Book Synopsis Active Network Analysis by : Wai-Kai Chen
Download or read book Active Network Analysis written by Wai-Kai Chen and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 1991 with total page 694 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Active Network Analysis gives a comprehensive treatment of the fundamentals of the theory of active networks and its applications to feedback amplifiers. The guiding light throughout has been to extract the essence of the theory and to discuss those topics that are of fundamental importance and that will transcend the advent of new devices and design tools. The book provides under one cover a unified, comprehensive, and up-to-date coverage of these recent developments and their practical engineering applications. In selecting the level of presentation, considerable attention has been given to the fact that many readers may be encountering some of these topics for the first time. Thus basic introductory material has been included. The work is illustrated by a large number of carefully chosen and well-prepared examples.

Book Synopsis Symbolic Network Analysis by : Pen-Min Lin
Download or read book Symbolic Network Analysis written by Pen-Min Lin and published by Elsevier Publishing Company. This book was released on 1991 with total page 340 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The value of symbolic network analysis is now well recognized. In industry it has been used as an aid in the design of small linear networks. In academic institutions it has been found useful as an instructional aid. The purpose of this book is to present, in a single volume, a unified treatment of all symbolic analysis methods, using a consistent set of notation, and based on the same theoretical background (network topology, combinatorial analysis, and numerical analysis). The emphasis is on those methods which have been implemented and for which there are source codes available. The work will be of interest to all those who have the usual college-level training in circuit theory.
Book Synopsis Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences by : Wade H. Shafer
Download or read book Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences written by Wade H. Shafer and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-21 with total page 307 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences was first conceived, published, and dis· seminated by the Center for Information and Numerical Data Analysis and Synthesis (CINDAS) *at Purdue University in 1957, starting its coverage of theses with the academic year 1955. Beginning with Volume 13, the printing and dissemination phases of the ac· tivity were transferred to University Microfilms/Xerox of Ann Arbor, Michigan, with the thought that such an arrangement would be more beneficial to the academic and general scientific and technical community. After five years of this joint undertaking we had concluded that it was in the interest of all concerned if the printing and distribution of the volume were handled by an international publishing house to assure improved service and broader dissemination. Hence, starting with Volume 18, Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences has been disseminated on a worldwide basis by Plenum Publishing Corporation of New York, and in the same year the coverage was broadened to include Canadian universities. All back issues can also be ordered from Plenum. We have reported in Volume 20 (thesis year 1975) a total of 10,374 theses titles from 28 Canadian and 239 United States universities. We are sure that this broader base for theses titles reported will greatly enhance the value of this important annual reference work. The organization of Volume 20 is identical to that of past years. It consists of theses titles arranged by discipline and by university within each discipline.
