Book Synopsis The Bride Of Christ: The Bridegroom and His Bride by : Christopher Hussey

This book was released on 2017-08-11 with total page 110 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Right from the very beginning in eternity past, God had planned history with His Son having a bride, a companion that would co-reign with Him and enjoy Him forever. That is the eternal purpose of God in creating a bride for His Son. If you read the Scripture from cover to cover, you would discover that God teaches us in a variety of different ways. Sometimes God uses powerful word pictures, sometimes He uses symbols, sometimes He uses examples of people both good and bad. Sometimes God uses a direct word, an authoritative word, sometimes He uses examples from nature, like a tree planted by the rivers of water that will not cease to bear fruit. This book highlights how God gave us an example of an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony that correlates with Christ, the Bridegroom, and His bride the church. From the father choosing a bride for his son, paying the bridal price, the bridegroom snatching his bride and bringing her to the bridal chamber, and then finally co-reigning with him in their household with him as the head. It is absolutely amazing the correlation between the two. What was a mystery to the Jews has been revealed. The mystery was that both Jew and Gentile called the church would be the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is describing the kind of relationship we can have with Jesus. God is seeking willing lovers, who would voluntarily seek His heart, voluntarily surrender to Him, and voluntarily love Him with all their heart, soul and mind, and strength.

Book Synopsis The Bride Set Free by : Scharlotte Celestine
Download or read book The Bride Set Free written by Scharlotte Celestine and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2017-03-27 with total page 284 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book begins with a vision of a heavenly proposal. In the vision, Jesus was standing before the ones he had come to save. His nail-scarred hands were spread open wide in invitation, and he asked, Will you be mine? Will you let me into your heart to love and provide for you? Will you surrender to me and be my bride? I saw his beloved kneeling at his feet in complete surrender and asking him to be their king; and he said to them, I must go away to make a place for you in my mansion, but I will return for my bride soon. I am not leaving you alone, but I give to you the Holy Spirit as a wedding planner to prepare my bride. He will wash you pure with my word, clothe you in robes of righteousness, and teach you the ways of my kingdom so you can come boldly before my throne on our wedding day. Jesuss proposal was awesome! He paid the full price for his bride with his own life! As I compare this beautiful vision to what I see in the world today, my heart is gripped with an urgency to inspire people to get ready because we dont know the hour of his return. Through his Word, we know the day is well advanced and that the hour certainly draws nearer! As King Solomon prayed for wisdom and asked God to teach him how to come in and go out, we must have the same prayer. Learning to come into Gods presence as we learn from him and as we build our relationship and receive boldness to go out into the harvest, fully representing Jesus as ambassadors to share testimony of him!
Book Synopsis Take This Cup by : Charles Erlandson
Download or read book Take This Cup written by Charles Erlandson and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2020-04-29 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Suffering is one of the few universals in life and something with which everyone who is reading this has struggled. I have written this book that you might believe that your suffering has a meaning and that God is good. I have written this book that you might rejoice in your suffering because all Christian suffering unites us to Jesus Christ and, therefore, leads to glory and joy. I make this audacious, and even offensive, claim because it is the good news of Jesus Christ proclaimed in a different way. It is the good news that God takes what men and devils mean for evil and transforms it into our glory and joy, through his Son. Read this book if you want to know how and where God promises his people glory and joy through their suffering. Read it, and take the cup of suffering with your Lord. If you do, he promises you, he will unite himself to you through your suffering.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God has written a story. Ponder that thought for a moment. That is a startling statement. The God of the universe, the only one true God, has written a story, a comprehensive narrative of what has been, what is, and what will be. And not only has God written a story, but he wrote it to be read and understood by the highest form of his creation, his magnum opus--humans. He wrote his story so that every person he has made, every person on whom he has stamped His image, might comprehend and embrace it. That means he wrote his story with you in mind. “If you ever wished for a single work whose design is to bring you up to speed in your understanding of Scripture...this is the book.” John MacArthur, Pastor, Grace Community Church and Grace to You "...a rich resource providing the Christian with a thorough knowledge of the narrative of Scripture...I highly commend this book.” Stephen J. Lawson, President, OnePassion Ministries “this book...begins with a study of the Bible, then takes us through its key events: Creation, Fall, Israel, Christ, Church and Glory...with good depth that will assist anyone, from a young believer to the oldest pastor. I heartily recommend it to everyone.” Dr. Tom Halstead, Dean, School of Biblical Studies, The Masters University

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why do people marry? Why are we ingrained with the need to love and be loved? In the beginning, God created man and woman in His image--made with the design to devotedly and intimately love and dwell with Him for all time. However, once sin entered the world, this plan expanded to pursue and redeem the fallen bride, bringing her back to the relationship she was intended to have from the beginning. THE BRIDE OF CHRIST will enrich your understanding of God's Word by exploring how those from the time of Abraham viewed covenants, betrothals, and marriage relationships. By sifting through the Mosaic law, you will better understand God's purpose and intention for marriage. Studying the lives of Hosea and Ruth will reveal how they lived out God's own desire for His people. Most importantly, the life and teachings of Jesus will divulge God's passionate pursuit for you to be a bride of Christ and dwell with Him for all eternity.
